Valerie van Leersum

Daar gezien van hier

The horizon: an invisible line that connects us with the distance and simultaneously brings us back to ourselves. Various Frisian painters sought to get closer to this philosophical phenomenon. Visual artist Valerie van Leersum used the Frisian literary archive Tresoar to deepen their observations. Her installation invites you, too, to inch closer to the horizon.
