Silent Messengers is an installation made up of fifty kites that visually question Terschelling’s rapidly growing goose population. The goose is a controversial inhabitant of Terschelling; their population is skyrocketing and they are spending longer and longer here. On the one hand these birds decorate the landscape, but on the other their presence endangers the island.
