De Streken

De Streken is a tidal installation on the mudflats. The tide creates a shape that transforms and an ever-changing experience. During the low tide, the installation is a tranquil place with views over the mudflats. During high tide, you find yourself surrounded by water. This creates a sacred space, caused by the tide, in which you can experience the Wadden Sea from up close.

Free admission and can be visited continuously every day between 10:00 and 18:00 hours.
