COVID19 protocol

If you buy a ticket for Oerol Festival 2021 you agree to our protocol

If you buy a ticket for Oerol, you agree to our protocol with which we can guarantee the safety of the public, makers and employees.

Since the lockdown in March 2020, Oerol will again organize its first public activity on Terschelling. This requires cooperation from everyone in the organization, the makers and the public. Oerol does everything in its power to make it a great and safe festival together. By participating in this Festival or buying / reserving a ticket, you comply with the rules that apply nationally and regionally. COVID-19.

The regulations have been drawn up together with the municipality of Terschelling. It is not possible to deviate from this. The safety of the public, makers and employees are paramount. Instructions from Oerol employees must be followed at all times.

Health check

We assume that you are healthy when you come to Terschelling and Oerol. Prior to each part of the program, a health check is done by the organization:

  • Have you had a cough, cold, fever (38 degrees or higher) or shortness of breath in the past 24 hours?
  • Have you been diagnosed with the corona virus during a test in a laboratory in the past 7 days?
  • Are you in isolation at home because you have had direct contact with someone who has been diagnosed with corona infection?
  • Do you currently have a housemate with a fever or shortness of breath?
  • In the past 10 days, have you had direct contact with a housemate who has been diagnosed with corona infection?
  • Have you been in Covid-19 risk area in the last 10 days? If so, we urge you to be tested so as not to infect others.
  • Have you been abroad in the past 2 weeks where a code red or orange applies? If so, were you tested negative on your return?

Cancellation

In case of (minor) complaints or a positive COVID19 test, it is not allowed to visit the island and the festival. To this end, we have a flexible cancellation policy: you can cancel your ticket free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. After that, you can only cancel free of charge if we can resell your ticket to someone from the waiting list. Consult Rederij Doeksen and your accommodation provider for the cancellation conditions of your trip and stay.

At location

All locations are arranged in such a way that a distance of 1.5 meters can be kept.

Disinfect your hands when entering each location. In some cases you may be asked to wear a mouth and nose cap. You will be taken to your seat by a host or hostess. When you are seated, we only ask you to get up when necessary.

Each location has its own corona manager who supervises compliance with the safety rules. You can also contact this person with questions.

There is a special protocol for hygiene in toilets and any catering industry.

The same rules apply to outdoor locations as to indoor locations.

Transport

When the audience moves themselves (cycling / walking), they are asked to respect the 1.5 meters distance at all times.
