The general online presale for the Friends will begin the last week of May. However, the general online presale will start a week later.
Presale on the island
Oerol is ceased with the presale in the ET-10 on the island. To compensate for this, the online presale will continue for a longer period of time. In 2012 until the 13th of June! The entire presale process has moved online so you can have all the fun and excitement of the pre-festival phase from the privacy of your own home.
Ticket sale during the festival
The physical ticket sale will take place at the Westerkeyn, the beating heart of our festival. The central cash register will be opened daily from 10 AM until 10 PM. On the last Sunday of the festival, the Westerkeyn will be closed and the remaining tickets will be sold at the entrance to the festival terrain.

Oerol begins with the Oerol passport
The Oerol Passport
Oerol begins with the purchase of a passport. The Oerol passport will allow you entrance to the majority of Oerol’s programme. From music on the Green Beach to the programming on the festival terrain at the Westerkeyn (which is also the location of the central festival register) to all the surprising passport projects. The passport furthermore entitles you to purchase tickets for the theatre shows. The passport is personalized; fill in all the details and keep it close at hand: you’ll need it on several instances as proof of admission. It also contains a handy bicycle map with all the festival locations.

You can purchase your passport through our website during the online presale period.
The passport is also for sale on the island during the festival. You purchase your boat ticket through the website of Rederij Doeksen, you’re also able to order a passport. You will receive an e-ticket that explicitly explains where and how you can exchange that ticket for your passport.
If you’re already underway, but haven’t picked up a passport yet, don’t worry. There are plenty of opportunities to purchase a passport en route to the island and on it, for example on the ferry, at the information stand at the harbor, at the VVV, at the entrance of the Groene Strand at the entrance of the festival terrain at the Westerkeyn.

Merchandise

Warm sweaters, posters, t-shirts, dresses and a whole lot more fun Oerol merchandise can be purchased through our online web shop and during the festival at different locations on the island.
The temporary Oerol merchandise store located in West near Tijs Knop (opposite of the Wakend Oog) is open from 10.00 until 19.00 during the festival. The festival store located at the Westerkeyn is open from 10.00 until 20.00.
Merchandise is also sold on the ferry to and from Terschelling as well as during the fairs that will be held during the festival.
